You’ve got some good stuff there. I really enjoyed Cutting Loose. The cover made me think it was a questionable read to me , but I really enjoyed getting the to know the three characters and was happy to see that it had more depth than the cover suggested.

I resisted Water for Elephants for awhile (it just didn’t sound like something I’d like)…but I loved it!! Enjoy!

I still think about that book, and there’s an older man who goes to my church that makes me think of old Jacob from the book. I wonder if Charles, the man from church, had an interesting life, too.
I’m looking forward to reading your review of Cakes in Kigali. It’s on my wishlist.

Love your books. I have American Lion and I see that it is touring this summer. I haven’t read it and have plans to feature a review… so I am glad about that. I got the big Zero this week. I cut down on requests (begging) …. But gosh.. Monday rolled around and I got greedy…..

Another person who can’t resist gushing about Water For Elephants. I’ve read it twice and listened to the audiobook, which is pretty well read, in the car with my family.
