There’s not much to say. I’m a middle-aged suburban housewife with a husband, a son in college and a dog. I was born in Bermuda and have moved 11 times (not counting 1 local move) and currently reside in South Carolina. I like to spend time with family and friends, read, play games and travel. Hi Bermuda Onion, I read your comment on my blog. We are neighbors. Where do you live in SC.
I am so happy to know that another blogger lives here in SC. That is great. Was wondering if you would put me on your blog roll and I would do the same.

Hi, Bermudaonion! I’ve seen your name in the comments at all my favorite blogs lately and decided I was way past due in coming over to visit you.
I just recently moved home to Texas from a stint in North Carolina! Howdy, neighbor! I love South Carolina. Beautiful place. I adore your blog and will definitely be reading more of you!

I came across your blog through a link chain on the book blogs and I’ve liked looking through your blog. I’ll be checking back here for sure!
Happy new year!

Hello, Kathy.
I hope you enjoy The Wisdom of Yawdy Rum. Many readers who may have never experienced New Orleans have told me they can’t wait to visit the city after reading the book. The scenes in the book from in and around the historic French Quarter create a very intriguing draw. As I think I wrote in your copy, I hope you find some lasting inspiration from Ol’ Yawdy Rum.
Best regards,
Micheal

Hi –
I say your comment on a Baltimore Sun article about free books and food… and I came here to ask you if you would have any interest in reviewing my upcoming (4th) novel, BAKED OFF. When I got here to your blog, I noticed that you reviewed Joshua Ferris’ THEM WE CAME TO THE END — and now I would like to know if you may me interested in reviewing my current novel, HANDLE TiME ( http://tinyurl.com/handletime ). It’s office-lit… but from a female perspective… and so funny, you will laugh your post-it notes off! LOL
Thank you for your time. Please email me if you have an interest in either book.
Best Regards,
LiNCOLN PARK

Hi there
I’m also a middle-aged suburban housewife, living in the UK. My first book has just hit the shelves and is launching tomorrow – although I’ve already done a couple of book signings and sold out at both! Very exciting!
Cut Short is the first in a brand new series of British crime thrillers. You can read about it on my publisher’s website http://www.noexit.co.uk and check out my blog leighrussell.blogspot.com
I hope you read my book – please let me know what you think! leighrussell@live.co.uk

Thanks for the great blog. Great insights and book choices … plus I love the reading list. I wish I could say I’ve already read 100+ books in 2009.

Hey, Bermuda. It was fun meeting you at SIBA and I absolutely agree with you that blog book reviewers are the best. Those that have reviewed my book, The Blue Cotton Gown: a midwife’s memoir, always have a fresh perspective. I’m not just buttering you up either! As newspapers shrink their book review pages, the public will depend more and more on people like you to give them insight and news. Did I give you a copy of my book? All my best. Patricia Harman

Hi Bermudaonion.
Bermuda is the only overseas place I have ever been to, and I LOVED IT. I gather that you no longer live there, but still… to have EVER lived there. That is grand.
I stayed at The Belmont when I was in Bermuda. And the ONLY affordable place to eat I could find was by taking the boat across to Hamilton and sitting at the KFC.
