Book Bloggers’ Paradise

Carl and I are in Virginia visiting his family. We stopped along the way so I could have lunch with Jaime of Confessions of a Bibliophile, Jennifer of The Literate Housewife Review and Miriam of Hachette Books. It was so much fun to meet these wonderful women in person and talk about books over lunch! They’re twice as nice as you think they are! I came away from lunch with three new books and went straight to the bookstore and bought another one.
This is Miriam and me.

Kathy, I had a wonderful time, too! Thanks for organizing this. It was a pleasure to meet Miriam and Jamie, too. Lunch was delicious. We need to get together whenever you’re in town. I hope that you enjoy the rest of your trip.

I will put my 2 cents in too that I wish all of us could have a book blog meet up somewhere. I don’t know if you know that they will be having a book festival for SC at the end of the month. Next time you go away and you are headed to Myrtle Beach let me know and maybe we can meet up too. I would love to see how many of us bloggers are in the Ga, SC, NC area.
