Tuesday Thingers and a Picture of Milou
Tuesday Thingers is hosted by Wendi of Wendi’s Book Corner. Her question for today is:
Were you aware of the Member Giveaways Program? Have you posted any books in the giveaway? If so, what are your thoughts on the program? Have you requested any books, and if so, did you win any?
I am aware of the Member Giveaway Program and have entered to win a few books, most notably Janeology by Karen Harrington, but I haven’t won any. I think this is a great new feature, but I haven’t posted any books on it yet. I think it’s something I might use in the future.

A few days before this picture was taken, Milou had been playing with her bear, trying to chew his nose off. We took the bear away because we didn’t want her to choke on the nose. On the day the picture was taken, Milou had been sitting in Carl’s lap and worked her way up on his desk. It wasn’t until she was on the desk that we figured out she was after her bear.
I’ve looked at the program, but I haven’t particpated.
Great picture!
I have seen, I have participated, I have won!
{{off to look for a doggie pic to post…}}
adorable picture!!
I hadn’t heard about the program. I’ll definitely have to check it out. Adorable picture of Milou!
I am yet to participate in this!
Milou looks so sweet!
I’ve requested a few of the giveaway books, but haven’t won any yet. Don’t imagine I’ll keep up with it quite as regularly as I do with the Early Reviewers program, but a chance for a free book is always a good thing!
I haven’t won any of the giveaway books yet either. But I enter even the ER lottery with very low expectations because there is so much competition! But what a wonderful treat you provided today with that picture!
I just joined Library Thing, so I know nothing about it.
Oh, funny Milou! Our belated kitty, Sunshine, had a lamb that she nearly tore to pieces and a parrot. When she passed away, we couldn’t bear to look at her toys and thre them away.
I haven’t any LT member giveaways, but, would I love to read *Janeology*!
Did Milou see where you put her bear, or did she sniff it out?!?
Oh my goodness, Milou is wonderful. I am assuming Milou is a chihuahua – they are such smart little dogs – we have 10 adult chihuahuas and a number of puppies we are selling. They are my heart and my husband and I spend countless hours (as in ALL of our free time) playing with them. They outsmart us every time!
Wow! 10 adult dogs and some puppies – they must keep you hopping! Milou is a Jack Russell Terrier.
I’ve requested books but didn’t realize we could post books. I’ll have to think about that.
I loved the Milou story!
I love all of your pics of Milou. He sounds like he likes his stuffed toys as much my Max does. So cute 🙂
I entered to win Janeology as well, but no such luck!
Ah, she just wanted her bear!
I love this pic-how cute! They’re so smart aren’t they? We think they’re trying to cuddle us and really they scheming on how to get what it is they really want. I love it!
She’s such a pretty girl!
I tried my hand at winning Janeology, but no such luck either. I might use that feature to give away. I like the ease of it.
My new apartment is in the same block as a huge Barnes and Noble. You have no idea of the temptation that I face everyday.
Loved the Milou story! Animals are very persistent that way. 🙂 I wish you luck with the Member Giveaways – I hope you win something!
That doggie is a cutie, and knew exactly what she was doing to get her toy back. Dogs are smart when they want to be 🙂
Wow – Milou is both cute and clever!
I love love love Milou pictures! ( maybe a new feature?!)
what a cute picture!!! and too funny. 🙂
Aw, poor Milou…I hope she got her bear back!!! woof!
Cute pic lol! My cat did that to her stuffed turtle. It’s a little bit bigger than she is and she wrestles with it. She’s gouged the poor thing’s eyes off so I need to either cut them out or sew them back on before she can have it again. She’s NOT happy!
oh, what a sweet dog 🙂 I love it when people show their pets, thank you!
What a smart Milou!! LOL – my son does that – he is a little over two, and when we take something away, or think we’ve hidden it, he KNOWS and finds a way to get it – it’s amazing, so I can just imagine what Milou was doing. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by and participating in Thingers last week! I’ve got the post up for this week, we’re taking a look at the new LT Memes. ~ Wendi
