BBAW: Giveaway #4

September 17, 2009

It’s Book Blogger Appreciation Week and the theme of this year’s event is “Celebrate Books.”  In keeping with that theme, I’ll have a giveaway every day this week.  I ended up with two ARCs of  Roses by Leila Meacham, and I’m giving one of them away today.  (This book will be released on January 6, 2010.)  I haven’t read this book, so I’m going to use the publisher‘s synopsis.

RosesSpanning the 20th century, the story of Roses takes place in a small East Texas town against the backdrop of the powerful timber and cotton industries, industries controlled by the scions of the town’s founding families. Cotton tycoon Mary Toliver and timber magnate Percy Warwick should have married but unwisely did not, and now must deal with the deceit, secrets, and tragedies of their choice and the loss of what might have been–not just for themselves but for their children, and children’s children.

To enter to win this galley of  Roses by Leila Meacham, simply leave a comment on this post.  Contest is open worldwide.  I will use to determine the winner.  Contest ends at midnight EST, Friday September 25, 2009.  Winner will be announced on Saturday, September 26, 2009.
