    That Pioneer Woman has got it all going on! I think it was Molly that brought her to my attention. I want to be Pioneer Woman!

    Wow you received some great books! The Pioneer Cookbook sounds fabulous (I am always on the prowl for new recipes)! And The Why Dogs are Better than Cats appeals to me for the title (although my cats would probably kill me for admitting that).

    Nice assortment Kathy. I would have to disagree on one title though…..I’d say: “Why Cats Are Better Than Dogs”? LOL LOL

    I have used many recipes from Pioneer Woman’s blog and I have her cookbook on my wishlist. I’m sure it’s a great book if it’s anything like her blog! Happy reading!

    Lucky, lucky girl! I entered every Pioneer Woman contest I could find! Why Dogs Are Better Than Cats sounds like fun too. I’m glad for you for all your good books this week!

    Oh – BTW – you asked about pomegranate seeds – I can usually find whole pomegranates at Publix almost any time of year – they probably come from Peru but there they sit!

    I’ll be curious to see what you think of The Glass Room. I read The Fall by Mawer years ago and thought it was fantastic and intricate.

    Okay, I ACTUALLY GASPED AUDIBLY when I read that you won THE PIONEER WOMAN COOKS!!! I have been following her blog for a couple of years and LOVE LOVE LOVE her recipes. I am DYING to get her cookbook!!!!! Lucky lucky LUCKY you!

    i started reading the pioneer woman a few years ago and was taken with her photography and recipes. i whipped up one of her pies–it was good–and am on the waiting list for this book.

    i’m always on the lookout for some new recipes!!!

    Maybe I should get myself a copy of Why Dogs are Better Than Cats! My boyfriend has a cat and I keep trying to convince him we need a dog!

    Nice haul. I must read The Glass House. And I’m sure I’d like the recipes in the pioneer cookbook. Matthew pearl’s The Dante Club was very good so I bet this one is too. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the dogs vs cats book. 🙂
