Mailbox Monday
December 21, 2009
Mailbox Monday is one of my favorite memes – a big thanks to Marcia of The Printed Page for hosting it. Head on over to Marcia’s blog to see what everyone else got last week or to join in the fun. Here’s what I found in my mailbox last week:
Monday
- Live For Your Listening Pleasure (audio book) by David Sedaris came from Hachette Books
- Replacement Child by Judy L. Mandel came from Author Marketing Experts
- 2 beautiful bookmarks from The Literate Housewife‘s Bookmark It club
Tuesday
- The Imperial Cruise by James Bradley was a Twitter win and came from Hachette Books – this contest was a little different – Tweeters entered other people, so I have Michelle from Galleysmith to thank for this book!
- The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe (audio book) by J. Randy Taraborelli was a win from A Sea of Books
Wednesday
- The Lie by Petra Hammesfahr came from Meryl Zegarek Public Relations
- Keeping the Feast by Paula Butturini came from Riverhead Books for the Winter Reading Series on Books on the Brain in February
Thursday
- The Lonely Hearts Club by Elizabeth Eulberg came from Big Honcho Media
Friday
- Crossing Washington Square by Joanne Rendell was a win from Peeking Between the Pages

That’s a nice stack of books – I have Crossing Washington Square on my tbr list. Enjoy!
What a fruitful week you’ve had! There are a couple there I have on my list. Happy reading!
oh dear. the books here were all the books that I bought for Christmas. I struggle to find reading time but have carved out some time for Julian Barnes’ Nothing to be frightened of, which is extraordinary.
What a great haul! Happy reading.
No Fallen yet? Well darn it should be there this week I hope!
Great stash this week! I hope you enjoy Imperial Cruise. I have an arc of Lonely Harts Club to read for this month as well. 🙂
Great stack of books for some holiday reading 🙂
I am anxious to read your review of Crossing Washington Square.
Wow! You had a great week! I read the Marilyn Monroe one when I was in college (I think that was the same one.)
Happy reading this week. Looks like you got another big batch in, and yay to bookmarks!
Looking forward to your thoughts on Confections of a Master Baker.
Nice variety of books! Replacement Child especially leaped out to me. When I read the synopsis on Amazon it sounds like a heartbreaking, but powerful memoir.
Enjoy your books!
