Mailbox Monday
November 30, 2009
Mailbox Monday is one of my favorite memes – a big thanks to Marcia of The Printed Page for hosting it. I had a great book week, since most of the books I received were wins. Here’s what I found in my mailbox last week:
Monday
- The Wrong Mother by Sophie Hannah was a Twitter win from Penguin
- Chocolate: A Love Story by Max Brenner was a Twitter win from Little Brown (Hachette)
- In the Beginning by Chuck Fischer was sent by Hachette at the request of its paper engineer, Bruce Foster – this is another gorgeous pop-up book
Tuesday
- Thursday Night Widows by Claudia Pineiro came from Meryl Zegarek Public Relations, Inc
- Surviving Paradise by Peter Rudiak-Gould was a Twitter win from Sterling Publishing
Wednesday
- Prospect Park West by Amy Sohn was a win from The Book Studio
Friday
- Christmas Cake by Lynne Hinton came from Book Club Girl for the Blog Talk Radio show with the author on December 15
Saturday
- Children of Dust by Ali Eteraz came from Jen of Devourer of Books

yes, this would be my story too — Chocolate: A Love Story by Max Brenne! LOL
Happy reading.
I haven’t received books in the mail in ages–entirely my own fault as I haven’t gone looking for any. There are two coming in the mail this week though (LibraryThing and an autographed ARC from Michael Palmer). I’d forgotten how nice it is to get books in the mail. 🙂
You did have a good week! I’m always on the look out for a new Christmas book so I’ll have to check out Christmas Cake.
I didn’t get any books last week. Hope you enjoy Chocoalte and Christmas Cake!
