Tuesday Thingers and Picture of Milou

January 6, 2009

tuesdaythingers

Wendi of Wendi’s Book Corner is the host of Tuesday Thingers.  Head on over there if you want to see what others have to say about this week’s question, which is:

Did you know that there are 1497 authors participating in LT Authors? If you haven’t checked it out, head over for a moment and see if you can find out something new about an author! If you don’t have time to go snooping, have you ever looked at the LT Author page before? Did you know that it is for authors and readers alike? Have you ever looked up a favorite or new author on LT to see what they read and if they have left any comments or reviews themselves? Have you ever told an author about LT Authors and encouraged them to check the site out?

I’ve never looked at that page before, so I took a quick peek this morning.  I learned that 5 people have David Ebershoff (author of The 19th Wife) as one of their favorite authors and that Jayne Pupek (author of Tomato Girl) has 412 books in her library.  I will definitely need to investigate this page more.

Today’s picture of Milou shows her playing a video game with Vance.  She loves to watch TV and barks at any animals that come on.

Alyce of At Home With Books , Dar of Peeking Between the Pages and Kaye of Pudgy Penguin Perusals were kind enough to give me the Butterfly Award – they all have great blogs that you need to check out.

Milou is a very attentive little girl! She’ s probably wishing she had opposable thumbs, because she’s got the game all figured out and could kick some butt on it! 🙂

I’m thinking your Milou is just about as spoiled, excuse me, cross that out and insert, “well loved” as our Cookie…..whoever coined the termed, “its a dogs life” obviously never knew my pooch!

Milou clearly wants to take part in that game! She looks so intent on the screen. I love her ears!

Ha! I love Milou’s expression. We created a mii for Emmy on Wii. I need to post it – it’s hilarious.

OMG-I love this picture. That is so cute. When Buddy hears dogs barking on tv he runs to the window and barks like crazy. They’re awesome aren’t they.

You know, I’ve never thought of marking an author as a favorite on LT! I’ll have to go check that out!

Cute picture! My dog used to bark at animals on the tv, but he’s not interested anymore (14+ years old now).

Thanks for participating in Tuesday Thingers this week Kathy!

Have a wonderful week ~ Wendi

That photo of Milou is great, Kathy! My animals don’t often watch TV, but the cats are fascinated by the computer screen and will sometimes sit and stare it while my husband and I are doing one thing or another on it.
