Mailbox Monday is one of my favorite memes – a big thanks to Marcia of The Printed Page for hosting it. Head on over to Marcia’s blog to see what everyone else got last week or to join in the fun. Wow, what a week I had! I was expecting a slow week after the holiday, but instead, I had a fantastic one. Here’s what I found in my mailbox last week:
Monday

Tuesday
- Searching for Tina Turner by Jacqueline E. Luckett came from Hachette Books for a Blog Talk Radio show on February 2 at 9PM
Thursday
- $40 Amazon gift certificate was a win from Bookshipper
- The Summer We Fell Apart by Robin Antalek came from Book Club Girl for a Blog Talk Radio show on January 25 at 7PM
Friday
- You Were Always Mom’s Favorite by Deborah Tannen was a win from The Book Studio
- Please Excuse My Daughter by Julie Klam was a win from The Book Studio
- KitchenAid Best-Loved Recipes was a win from Read Street
- Get Lucky by Katherine Center is for a TLC Book Tour – watch for my review on April 1
- a dozen roses came from Hachette Books for inviting the most people to participate in the Blog Talk Radio show with Leila Meacham, the author of Roses – you should listen to the show and see what USA Today has to say about the book!

Congratulations on your very full mailbox! I would be interested to hear what you think of Tannen’s book – I read You’re Wearing That? about communication between mothers and daughters and really liked it – she does a great job of highlighting how communication influences our relationships. I don’t have a sister but would be interested to hear what she has to say on that relationship.
