OMG! is there a word for just about anything and everything?
Actually there is! I just checked it out and there is a word to describe the fear of just about every colour and even colour in general!

I gather the name Xanthe means ‘blonde-haired’ so there must be a latin link there somewhere connected with ‘yellow’ or something. Fascinating.
Entertaining word. I wonder when it was invented and if it’s ever used other than in word lists!

I don’t fear the color yellow but I have never liked it much – I think because it is the color of many things that give me bad allergies! But in general, I love words starting with X – not that I can remember them, but they always seem like fun words!
I wonder how many fears there are that have names. There certainly seem to be a lot of niche fears.
I didn’t know this phobia was a thing!

I never knew there was such a word! Great choice!
I never heard of xanthophobia, mainly because I had no idea there is a name for the fear of yellow or that this is a thing.
Eeek yellow!
I don’t want to get political, but there needs to be a word for people afraid of the color orange these days!
Being afraid of yellow is a thing?
In school Gage’s teachers always gave the class a word of the day with definition and they had to draw a pic. This week they had to find their own words in their reading and it’s worked great for Gage. Yesterday’s word was whirling dervish and I was impressed since I didn’t learn what that meant til my 20’s, lol.
